OVER THE RAINBOW x THE 519

 

    

     

      This year for Pride, Over The Rainbow is proudly partnering with The 519. This year we will be raising awareness of what The 519 has provided and continues to provide for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

 

 

     The 519 is a community center in the heart of the Church-Wellesley Village, providing many outstanding programs and services for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

 

 

 

 

 

     Some of these include housing services for newcomers to Canada that prioritizes the 2SLGBTQ+ refugees, Low barrier health services that are accessible to the community, Anti-Violence Initiatives (peer-led support groups and self-defense classes), education and training on how to make an environment more inclusive and aware of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. They also have community outreach programs that promote community wellness.
