As part of Over the Rainbow’s 40th anniversary “collaboration series”, we put a twist on the “traditional” Cowichan sweater. We worked together with the Canadian Sweater Company to solve a key problem with wool sweaters: itchy skin. The result was lining each sweater (the body AND arms) with a breathable quilted nylon fabric typically found on the inside of a jacket. This protects your skin from the wool while still having the warm Cowichan wool exterior.

The wool is individually sewn by the hands of experienced Canadian factory workers and constructed using reliable yet traditional production machinery.
